Galatina Apartments & Villas (Apulia)

Galatina, in the region of Apulia is chiefly renowned for it's fine Gothic church of St Caterina d'Alessandria, built in 1390 by Raimondello del Balzo Orsini, count of Soleto, with a fine portal and rose-window. The interior contains frescoes by Francesco d'Arezzo (1435). The interior, with five naves, towers up, decorated with beautiful capitals and frescoes inspired by Giotto, from the first half of the 15th century.
