From Gallipoli you can see, on the north side, Nardo's Coast and on the south side, Pizzo's bay. On the west there is Scoglio dei Piccioni and the Campo Island and, on the south west, Santa Andrea's island with a lighthouse built in 1866. The bridge, built around the Seno del Canneto in front of Rivellino's castle, is still used as a port for local fishermen. Just crossing the bridge you will find the last antique bulwark building; the Greco-Roman Fountain, the oldest fountain built in Italy.
