Torre dell'Orso is a romantic bay on the coast linking Lecce with Otranto, set in picturesque scenery where a succession of beaches lie fringed by Mediterranean maquis and separated by precipitous cliffs full of caverns. It is one of the most charming seaside resorts on the Adriatic coast. Stretching along a bay of extraordinary beauty, protected by high cliffs that embrace an incredibly transparent sea - from whose clear waters the seabed rises, to the north, two stacks known as the 'two sisters' - lined by a beach of the finest sand, where the dunes are covered by a lush pine-wood.

Torre dell'Orso owes its name to a mighty coastal tower built in the sixteenth century, at the time of Turkish incursions. Holiday accommodation is available to rent either in a Puglia self catering apartment or Puglia villa in the region of Apulia.
