The unique Mortella Garden with its tropical and subtropical park, which belonged to the British composer Sir William Walton, is situated above the San Francesco beach. Sant?Angelo, the embodiment of a picture-book seaside resort, climbs up the slope of Epomeo to the feet of Serrara Fontana. In the bars on the Piazza, with a view of the harbour and the rocks, one can enjoy unforgettable moments. Children love the beach of Maronti. The ?Parade? beach at Ischia is made up of course-grained, dark sand. Here one can find Pyrites in all conceivable volcanic colours.
