Domaso Apartments & Villas (Lake Como)

Domaso is situated on the west side of the northern part of Lake Como. It was once a fishing village but has now been transformed into a lovely tourist destination with colourful buildongs and narrow, steep lanes leading to the waters edge.

Domaso is thought to be from Roman origins. However, during the Middle Ages it had a more significant importance and there were many struggles both physically and politically. This period of time is evidenced by the still many sacred and profane 15th century frescoes in houses.

Domaso is one of the most famous places in Italy, and in fact in Europe, for windsurfing or board sailing, due to the combination of fairly flat water and greta wind. The mild weather and lakes breezes, known as the 'Breva', there is the perfect combination for windsurfers of all abilities. So why not rent a Domaso holiday villa or Domaso apartment for your active or relaxing holiday by Lake Como ?
