Tremosine Apartments & Villas (Lake Garda)

After having passed Limone and continuing southwards you can reach a street that leads to Campione and Tremosine. It is here where the most beautiful destinations for long walks begin.

The community of Tremosine has 2,000 inhabitants and is composed of 18 villages spread on the cliffs surrounding the lake and called "Gardaterraces" for the breathtaking views they offer. Tremosine is well known amongst archaeologists too for the bilingual inscriptions on the church tower: one language is Latin; the other is probably Gallic, one of the "dead" Celtic languages. A hint that Celts settled in this area even before the Romans.
