Our lake Garda Wedding Planner Gwen runs the leading local wedding planner company by Lake Garda and she is also a photographer who photographs many Italian weddings in the area. Gwen is based in Malcesine which is one of the favourite locations for weddings by Lake Garda. Their attention to detail comes from the experience that you can only get from organising many successful wedding events.

Wedding Ceremony

Our local wedding organizer can handle all elements of the wedding ceremony: the Italian Administration fees; a Civil Wedding in Town Hall of your choice; an Interpreter for the sworn declaration & wedding ceremony; consulate fees for administration & translation; assistance during your stay in relation to your wedding; personal email service before your wedding to follow all aspects of your wedding and preparations; meeting with us soon after your arrival to reconfirm and finalise all arrangements; multilingual marriage certificate; discreet presence throughout the wedding; and a bridal bouquet & button hole for the groom among many other aspects.

Wedding Breakfast

In the Lake Garda region it is a usual practice to have your wedding reception in a restaurant or hotel. Gwen therefore works with a large selection of restaurants around Lake Garda. All of our restaurants have been hand picked and have been selected to suit all tastes and budgets. Unless there are 50 or more guests they will not be able to reserve the entire restaurant for your wedding party but you will give you your own section of the restaurant with the tables as per your request. For parties of up to 20 it is usual to have one large table.

Flowers

Flowers add a special touch to every wedding, so it is important to find the perfect ones for your celebration. We can advise the type of flowers that you want for your wedding or combine are thoughts to come up with a unique offering. We can arrange bouquets, bridesmaids bouquets, button holes, wrist and bag corsages, flowers for the ceremony room, the car and the reception.

Wedding Cake

Italians do not have a fruit cake like the traditional British cake, but instead you may have a choice of various types of cakes. The usual Italian wedding cake is a sponge cake that has a layer of puff pastry, chocolate chips and cream. This is usually decorated with a hard icing. You may however choose any type of cake. Please bear in mind that fresh fruit cakes and chocolate cakes are not ideal in Italy in the summer months.

Cakes can be served on one oblong platter or layered depending on the style and size of cake.
