Albarella Apartments & Villas (Northern Adriatic Coast)

Alberella is an island in the lagoon landscape south of Venice, near Chioggia. A small, tranquil resort has developed here, with houses, villas and a few hotels nestling among the greenery. As well as its long, sandy, beach, Alberella offers many other facilities for the visitor: There is a marina, a golf course, a riding school with private livery facilities, tennis courts, a sailing school, archery and water-skiing. For children, courses are offered in football, windsurfing and swimming. Cycles are available for guests to hire. There is a beach (with charge for entry) with swimming pools, mini golf, child minding service and disco.

Additionally, there are playgrounds, table-tennis tables, cinema, launderette (coin-operated), jogging tracks, pedalo hire, numerous shops, restaurants and snack bars on the island. Concerts, plays, musicals and cabarets are regularly performed. The island?s luxuriant gardens and woods offer an oasis of tranquillity. There is no unauthorised access to the island, which is car-free, and the official means of transport is the bicycle. However, access to the apartments by car is possible.

Alberella is approx. 3.5km long and 1.5km wide, and the houses and apartments lie at varying distances from the sea. The coastal cities of the region, such as Venice, Ravenna, Verona, Vicenza and Padua all provide good excursion destinations.
