This charming Italian holiday rental apartment is situated on the hillside midway between Ravello and Minori among vineyards, lemon and olive groves. It's magnificent landscape setting is elevated two hundred metres above sea level. The house is reached down a steep staircase which descends from the little square of the hamlet Torello and then eventually to an unfinished road down to the tiny “fragment” of Ravello, Castiglione, right on the coast. It is the ideal spot for relaxation and for walkers, who will be delighted to explore the surroundings. The house has been entirely reconstructed and modernised, and is 3 km from the centre, set in a peaceful environment overlooking cultivated fields and undulating hills that gently slope down to the sea. It has a furnished garden area ideal for al fresco meals and guests may also take advantage of a swimming pool (11m x 3m x 2.5m, open 19/6-18/9), located one level above, in the garden, shared with the owners of the house who discreetly reside in the upper level of the property. Access is from the road down in Torello, approx. 223 steps lead down to the house entrance. Distances: Ravello town centre (shops, cafès, restaurant etc ) is approx 3 kms away. Amalfi and the beaches are just a bus-ride away (20 min.), the blue SITA buses leaving every hour at the entrance to the tunnel outside the Garden Hotel in Ravello. Amalfi 7 km, Minori 6 km, Positano 22 km, Salerno 29 km, Sorrento 39 km. From Amalfi, boats and hydrofoils run between Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Salerno, Napoli and Ischia (The services operate only during the Summer). Airport: Naples 65 km, Rome 320 km. Adjacent is a tastefully tiled bathroom with shower cubicle/wc; the ambiance is cozy and intimate and the many windows set in a wall provide for a well lit place.
