Brand new Tremezzo holiday apartment located in one of the most panoramic locations of Lake Como, just below the village of Perledo, just above the beautiful town Varenna. The apartment enjoys a balcony with amazing panoramic views of the lake. The brand new interior is well appointed, fully equipped and stylishly decorated. There is a shared outdoor swimming pool (open at the beginning of June) and sunbathing terrace around the back of the apartment building in a sheltered spot. Varenna's ferry terminal and train station are only a 15min walk down historic paths, that cut across the road leading up to the old quarry where this super development has been built. Varenna may be the most picturesque town on the lake, its steep winding alleys lined with charming homes, flowering balconies and lace-curtained windows. Just above it is the ancient castle where Theodolinda, Queen of the Lombards, is said to have died in the 7th century. Two famed villas to visit here are Villa Cipressi, with terraced gardens cascading right down to the shores, and Villa Monastero, a true showcase. The skiing areas of Madesimo and St. Moritz in Switzerland are just 80 - 90 mins drive from Varenna. The slopes of Italy's western Trentino and Lombardy are between 90 minutes and 2 hours drive away.
