Torre delle Stelle is an ideal location for a white sandy beach holiday in south east Sardinia. The lcoation is ideal as it is under one hour form the capital and main sardinian siport of Cagliari. Around 45 minutes from the airport by car. Here you can rent a wonderful Sardinia Villa with a stunning sea view and, if you wish, a swimming pool as well. Alternatively you can rent a Sardinia holiday apartmnet for your stay in this relaxing area.
Torre delle Stelle is in fact a holiday town of a few thousand buildings perched on two main hills. Most of the villas are owned by local Sardinians and Italians who use this place for their own holidays. The town comprises two mai beaches both of which have lovely sand and are good for swimming. The more north westerly beach (Cagliari side) can get windy at times but the other one is more sheltered.
The town does not have a lot of facilities but it does have a couple of restaurants (one main one) and a shop. The main entrance to the town from the main road also has a hotel with its own restaurant and bar. There is also a beach bar on the more north westerly beach. Many of the orads are quite steep up to the hills and some are still made from mud with stones filling some of the holes ! Still driving slowly and carefully is recommended.We also recommend taking the car and driving along the coast road to various other restaurants which are better as well as to Villasimius. However, beware because the distances do not look too far on the map but take a long time due to winding roads ! Also take a day trip to Cagliari and the bustling and vibrant market.
Torre delle Stelle is a lovely location for renting a Sardinia villa or Sardinia Apartment for your beach holiday in south east Sardinia. This area is cheaper and just as nice as the much more expensive playground of the rich in the north east of the island.
