There are some beautiful beaches along the north east Sicilian coast opposite the Aeolian islands. This is an idealic location to stay in a Sicily villa or sicily holiday apartment near one of the long stretches of white sandy beach next to the warm Mediterranean sea. You can stay in Patti itself or one of the suburbs like Mongiove.

This is also a great location for a day trip by boat to the nearby vulcanic Aeolian islands such as Isola di Lipari, Vulcano, Salina, Panarea or the more often quoted Stromboli. The islands vary in quite a diverse manner from the cone shape of Vulcano which exemplifies its name, to the lush and hilly Salina, Lipari the main island with the town of the same name, and the most remore Stromboli. As beautiful Sicilian beaches, Marina di Patti also has rocky parts to the coatsline and caves.
